How to Find eGuide
All eGuide tours depart from our dedicated tour desk, just a 2-minute walk from the Hobart Cruise Terminal, located at the corner of Franklin Wharf and Hunter Street, right next to the end of the MACq 01 Hotel.
Important: Use the Correct Exit
There are two exits from the cruise terminal:
Do not exit through the door marked Cruise Ship Shore Excursions.
Instead, use the exit next to the Visitor Information Desk.
If you accidentally use the shore excursion exit, don’t worry — just turn left and walk along Hunter Street toward the end of the MACq 01 Hotel. You’ll reach a small open plaza across the road from the water. That’s where we are.
Follow the Signs to the City
Depending on how your ship is berthed, port staff will direct you along one of two routes:
Via the Wharf – Turn left as you leave the terminal and walk along the waterfront with the sea on your left. Continue past the MACq 01 Hotel to the end, where you’ll find a small plaza with several tour desks just across the road (Franklin Wharf). Look for the eGuide marquee with “TOURS” on the roof and signboards in front.
Via Hunter Street – You may be directed to walk down Hunter Street. Follow it to the corner of Franklin Wharf, just past the MACq 01 Hotel. Our tour desk will be directly in front of you across the intersection.
If you find yourself crossing the pedestrian swing bridge heading toward Hobart CBD, you’ve gone too far — we’re located just before the bridge.
